Title suggestions please!
I recently completed another abstract painting and would love your help finding a title for this piece. Kindly add your suggestions to the comments section below this blog and the winning title will receive an album download of his/her choice.
I took a time-lapse video (see below) of the process of creating this painting. Hopefully it will inspire you to come up with a suitable title.
I look forward to hearing your ideas and suggestions for a title and will announce a winner in the next few days on the blog.
NOTE: A title has been selected thanks to the suggestion of Leila Ehsani. The painting is called, ‘Jade Awakenings’.

“We are all flowers in one garden”.
I couldn’t decide which to offer, so i shared both.

THE MANY BECOMING ONE
My first thought on seeing the circles being created from the outside slowly moving inside, was The Circle of Unity! We each have our own circles of influence which we are to promote unity and yes, this widens as we began to “touch” upon other circles. Circles upon circles! So my suggestion for the title is Circle of Unity. Here’s a quotation:
“Bahá’u’lláh has drawn the circle of unity, He has made a design for the uniting of all the peoples, and for the gathering of them all under the shelter of the tent of universal unity. This is the work of the Divine Bounty, and we must all strive with heart and soul until we have the reality of unity in our midst, and as we work, so will strength be given unto us.”
— ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
Little by little
– A shape at a time, a heart at a time
– The gift of collective endeavor
– Emergence
– These little spots
– Creation
This reminds me of Baha’u’llah’s description of the Garden of Ridvan outisde Akka:
One day of days We repaired unto Our Green Island. Upon Our arrival, We beheld its streams flowing, and its trees luxuriant, and the sunlight playing in their midst. Turning Our face to the right, We beheld what the pen is powerless to describe; nor can it set forth that which the eye of the Lord of Mankind witnessed in that most sanctified, that most sublime, that blest, and most exalted Spot. Turning, then, to the left We gazed on one of the Beauties of the Most Sublime Paradise, standing on a pillar of light, and calling aloud saying: ‘O inmates of earth and heaven!
