Thank you so much to those of you who shared your thoughts for a title for the Bicentenary album in English! With the help of your responses, I was able to choose a title that is befitting for the occasion. There were some wonderful suggestions and ideas but the overwhelming preference was, ‘The Ancient Beauty’.
I wanted to share some of the thoughts and reasons written by friends on the previous blog which affected my decision to choose ‘The Ancient Beauty’:
“I like all the other suggestions but this one directly refers to Bahá’u’lláh in His own Words.”
“All the suggestions are lovely, but the one that reaches into my heart the most is Ancient Beauty. It resonates on so many different levels, from the obvious to the mystical.”
“I prefer Ancient Beauty because it implies a mystery which should be investigated!”
““The Ancient Beauty” jumped right out at me.”
“The Ancient Beauty is most beautiful and relevant.”
The next stage of the project is designing the physical album. I feel the pressure to make it unique, and unlike any of my previous album designs. I’ve been trying to think of what would be appropriate for such a momentous occasion and I look forward to sharing the result as soon as it is ready.
In my previous blog, I shared a link for donations. For donations above US$20, a CD will be sent to you. Thank you in advance for all your kind support.
I will soon be posting details about the album release. For album and music updates, join the mailing list below.
