Rely Upon God – handwritten lyric video
I hope you are well during these difficult times the world is facing.
I am sharing with you my next handwritten lyric video titled ‘Rely Upon God’. To create this, I collaborated with a dear friend and talented artist Sophie Hurst.
Sophie used watercolor paints to depict the symbolism of the Divine. The sun represents the light that shines and gives life to the world. The blue wave washes away our sorrows and changes “toil into utter peace”. The imagery is simple yet powerful.
The a cappella version of ‘Rely Upon God’ is from the album ‘Melodies of the Nightingale for the Family’ recorded in 2001. I hope you enjoy it.
