A Thought of Peace – New Video

I am thrilled to share with you the next song and video titled, ‘A Thought of Peace’, from my album ‘The Divine Mystery’ in honor of the centenary of the passing of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá.

I wrote this piece a few years ago and released it on an album titled ‘Edge of Forever’.  As the quotation is so timely I asked my producer to re-master it and include the song on ‘The Divine Mystery’. 
 
‘Abdu’l-Bahá gave a talk about war and peace in Paris on Oct 21, 1912.  In His closing remarks He inspired His audience with these words: 

“I charge you all that each
one of you concentrate all the thoughts
of your heart on love and unity.
When a thought of war comes,
oppose it by a stronger
thought of peace.
A thought of hatred
must be destroyed by a more
powerful thought of love.
Thoughts of war bring destruction to all harmony, well-being,
restfulness and content. Thoughts of love are constructive
of brotherhood, peace,
friendship, and happiness.”

It seems we need to hear and reflect on these words now more than ever.
