Have you ever been in the middle of a project and forgotten to eat lunch because you’re so engrossed in the joy of creating. That’s how I feel when I’m in the studio composing or recording a new song. Hours go by and I don’t notice the passage of time as I’m in the midst of connecting with the creative spirit. I often find myself being drawn back into that world just so that I can create and feel the peaceful and inspiring state it brings me.
Recently my son and I composed another piece called ‘The Essence of Love’. I recorded him on the guitar in my studio and sang a passage from the Writings of Baha’u’llah to accompany him. You can hear the song here: ‘The Essence of Love’.
Below are the lyrics:
“The essence of love is for man to turn his heart to the Beloved One, and sever himself from all else but Him, and desire naught save that which is the desire of his Lord.” ~ Baha’u’llah

Wonderful. What a joy to hear a mother and son duo. And, nice photo of the rose! Love it.
Thank you all for your encouraging words. I so enjoyed this process and hope to make more music with Taraz!
