A friend of mine gave me a most beautiful beaded bookmark a few years ago and every time I say my prayers I enjoy looking at these beads made of love for me!
Ever since then I have wanted to make bookmarks that match the prayer covers that I sell but also in bigger sizes for general reading books. So I have now started making beaded bookmarks with gold thread and Chinese beads. The gold thread sits inside the crease of the book and the beaded ends extend outside the book at the top and the bottom. An inspiring quotation is attached to the beads to bring added beauty to one’s reading experience.
Each of the quotations are different and are based on the theme of love from varying sources (Abdu’l-Baha, Plato, Lao Tze to name a few). Here is a link to the beaded bookmarks on Etsy.
You can also find them on my website shop here.
Each bookmark comes in a chiffon bag, perfect for gift giving or simply to keep. The beaded bookmarks come in different sizes so that they can be used with different books.
I also make custom orders and can make them any size with any color beads.
Below are photos of a few of the beaded bookmarks I have made so far (view all bookmarks on the Etsy site).

Absolutely love these! Gorgeous! 🙂
Wow, they’re incredible!! I love the purple beads and I really like the last quote by Loa, I may have seen it before but seeing how you used it is great. You are a very talented lady and am so happy I was introduced to your music and have seen and heard of your wonderful talents through the years.
So beautiful Elly love! It inspires one to pick up a book to read!
These are fabulous. I will be ordering some.
I looked in Etsy but did not see the bookmark “In the garden of Thine heart…” How can I purchase this? This quote was the first one I taught my granddaughter (age 7)and she has it memorized. I would love to give this to her. Thank you
Thank you all for your encouraging words. I have loved making these beaded bookmarks and have just posted some more….
Verne – thanks for your message. Glad you found what you wanted. Thank you for purchasing them for your granddaughter! Hope she enjoys it. 🙂
