Sheltering Support – New Video

As celebrations around the world for the bicentenary of the Birth of the Báb approach, I wanted to share with you a video I just created from short clips that I took on my recent visit to the Bahá’í World Centre.

The peaceful and beautiful surroundings there are such a balm to the soul, and I wanted to share glimpses of the breathtaking beauty of the Shrine of the Báb.

The videos are accompanied by the piece ‘Sheltering Support’ – a prayer from the Báb set to music and released on ‘The Exalted One’ (when I was looking for passages for the album my father suggested this prayer, and I was struck by its beauty and power).

To me the words of the prayer perfectly capture the spirit of the Báb Himself: His gentleness, wisdom and utter reliance upon God under all conditions. Meditating on this prayer brings me comfort and solace; I hope it does to you as well.
