Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Rancho Dominguez, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity for growth while contributing to a dynamic work environment. The role primarily focuses on Accounts Receivable, with potential responsibilities in full-cycle Accounts Payable, and requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced office setting. Responsibilities: - Manage Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections. - Collaborate on full-cycle Accounts Payable tasks, including reviewing and approving system-generated invoice data using automation software. - Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance with financial records. - Provide support across four facilities, balancing onsite presence at headquarters with remote assistance when required. - Utilize intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, Word, Acumatica, and other relevant platforms to streamline workflows. - Adapt to office conditions and contribute to improving organization and systems. - Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management, maintaining a detail-oriented demeanor at all times. - Take initiative and work independently after a training period, ensuring smooth operations. - Screen, route, and approve automated accounts payable processes with accuracy and attention to detail. Requirements - Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and familiarity with Accounts Payable processes. - Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and accounting software such as Acumatica. - Ability to adapt to AP process automation tools and workflows. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. - Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to client interactions. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently after initial training. - Comfortable working in an office environment with some physical challenges, such as stairs-only access. - Willingness to contribute to a long-term role focused on continuous improvement.
