Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. + 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. + Experience building and maintaining partnerships and fostering a developing ecosystem. Preferred qualifications: + Master's degree in a technology or business related field. + Experience in product management for connected devices or Internet of Things (IoT) platforms. + Knowledge of smart home technologies and ecosystem. + Ability to define and deliver the goals, strategy, and roadmap for technical products and communicate technical concepts to various audiences. + Excellent investigative thinking and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills. As we build the AI for the home, we need a product manager to help ensure that AI-driven experiences can be built on the home, both for touch and voice. This includes building the correct interfaces, and ensuring that our ecosystem of devices are AI-ready. The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The Home team researches, designs, and develops new technologies and hardware to make users' homes more helpful. Our mission is the helpful home: to create a home that cares for the people inside it and the world around it. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google. + Lead the development and execution of the product goals, strategy, and roadmap for devices and capabilities aligned with user needs and Google Home's overall strategy. + Define and prioritize device and capabilities use cases, and technical requirements, considering both consumer and developer needs. + Act as a technical expert on devices and capabilities, bridging the gap between technical details and use or business impact. + Conduct market research, engaged analysis, and user feedback analysis to inform product decisions. + Communicate the devices and capabilities goals and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
