Job Description
QC Lab Tech opening with a Beverage company in Philadelphia, PA.
- Performing lab tests in order to determine if ingredients, packaging and manufactured products meet the companys quality standards and specifications.
- Responsible for the maintenance of lab records and equipment
- Performing chemical analyses using instrumentation methods in order to determine composition of samples.
- Reporting production data to the QA manager for approval
- Performing line checks to ensure product and package meet specifications.
- Operating lab testing equipment such as distillation, density meters and pH meter
- Any other duties assigned to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of products, processes and work environment and to follow safety measures.
- Ability to understand, record and communicate problems.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs continuously, 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to walk for extending periods of time on a daily basis
- Work is performed in the QC lab as well as other areas of the production facility
- Good attendance
- Must be able to work in a Hot environment.
- Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or other related science major.
